Week 2 Assignment 2

Story line: Fathers try to rescue their sons from a juvenile detention facility after they were unjustly convicted.
Setting: Campsite in the backwoods of Northern California.
Pacing: Quick, there is one problem after another.
Characterization: Small group of main characters. You can understand their motivations right away.
Tone: Suspenseful thriller.







Gone Girl is the story of Nick and Amy's strange marriage.  Amy is missing and Nick has been accused of killing her. This is a fast paced psychological story of their toxic relationship.  The defined characters with their passive-aggressive, lying and manipulative ways make you want to know what finally happens to the characters while hoping that you never meet anyone like them.

I have chosen to follow "NPR" for my recommended books link because some of our customers listen to NPR and I'd like to be more knowledgeable about what they are asking for.  I've chosen "Stop, You Are Killing Me!” for my recommended genre link because there seems to be a lot of information about mystery books in general on this site.
